This survey study investigated the relationship between library guide and library utilization. The study was conducted using a population of 337 admitted students of Federal Polytechnic, Oko. The sample size of 294 respondents was adopted using purposive sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was designed questionnaire subjected to face validation by three experts. In order to establish the reliability of the instrument, inter-item correlation method was used for the reliability coefficient at 0.647 making the instrument highly reliable. The questionnaire was administered by the research with the help of two research assistants. Data collected were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The r-value was used to answer research questions in order to show the strength of the relationship while p-value was used to test research hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The study concluded that a significant relationship exists between Library guide and Library Utilization which help to entrench maximum utilization of libraries. It was recommended among others that the authorities should create the right kind of environment for effective communication between the students and the staff as this will help to present an image of the library as a pleasant and friendly institution for the entrenchment of maximum utilization of libraries for educational development.
