The paper is expository, which dwells on how the CNN covered the 2020 US Presidential election. In particular, the paper focuses on how CNN framed its stories about President Trump. Data for the study were derived basically from secondary sources from which the analysis and conclusion were derived. The work anchors on Framing theory, which canvasses the idea that the media focus attention on certain events and then places them within a field of meaning similar to agenda-setting theory. With the aid of media contents, the paper concludes mainly that (1) that straight-forward-objective news production style has shed some space in favour of advocacy-argument and conversational journalism all tailoring to subjective journalism (2) The CNN structured its contents against President Donald Trump (3) The CNN appears to have wielded power sentimentally and arbitrarily (4) The CNN has been relentless in the pursuance professional excellence and can serve the world better in this regard.
