The study sought to determine the relationship that exists between library orientation and library utilization: One objective, One research question and one hypothesis guided the study at 0.05 level of significance. The study was conducted using a correlation design, the population of 337 was used for the study. The sample size of 294 respondents was adopted using purposive sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was designed questionnaire subjected to face validation by three experts. In other to establish the reliability of the instrument, inter-item correlation method was used for the reliability coefficient at 0.970 making the instrument highly reliable. The questionnaire was administered by the research with the help of two research assistants. Data collected were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The r-value was used to answer research question in order to show the strength of the relationship while p-value was used to test research hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The study concluded that a significant relationship exists between Library Orientation and Library Utilization which help to entrench security. It was recommended among others that the authorities should create the right kind of environment for effective communication between the students and the staff as this will help to present an image of the library as a pleasant and friendly institution for the entrenchment of security and economic growth.
